Performance Racing Network (PRN) at Lowes Motor Speedway

Client: Speedway Motorsports, Inc. (SMI)

Location: Concord, NC

3,500 s.f. radio broadcast studios and offices

THE ASSIGNMENT: SMI wanted to upgrade Performance Racing Network’s image and surroundings by relocating from their existing sub-standard space to new state-of-the-art space that included two broadcasting studios, a lobby, a green room for VIPs and staff offices.

THE SOLUTION: For high visibility, aiDG designed a new exterior entry vestibule, custom signage and fishbowl-like broadcasting studios boasting best-in-industry equipment. Wood veneer cabinetry, granite countertops, a frosted glass screen wall and high-end furnishings are incorporated into the public spaces. High-tech lighting showcases awards displayed in the custom lobby casegoods and illuminates photos and memorabilia along the corridor gallery wall.

aiDG coordinated the integration of all broadcast equipment, lighting and mechanical systems and incorporated acoustic ceiling and wall details to ensure the highest on-air sound quality.
