Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Assignment: To create a pleasant pedestrian retail experience within a limited budget, for multiple small retail buildings with a Bloom Grocery Store as anchor. Part of the challenge was giving all buildings high visual exposure from surrounding roads while visually buffering from the adjoining neighborhood.

The Solution: aiDG selected a transitional architectural design style with decorative accents to blend with the Bloom Grocery Store. The design included elements proven to make a retail experience successful including expansive glass for display, canopies and designated pathways for pedestrian movement between buildings. Corner tower accents were included to further emphasize the shops exterior.
