O’Reilly Race Park Control Tower Building

THE ASSIGNMENT: The NHRA wanted to replace an existing and outdated control building at the end of the O’Reilly Race Park dragstrip with a state-of-the-art facility.
THE SOLUTION: aiDG created a five-story building clad in split-face masonry with cast stone accents and blue reflective glass, topped with a 3,500 square-foot rooftop terrace. The two-story, glass enclosed front entrance lobby provides access to elevators and office and meeting facilities on the ground level. Race control, media and meeting spaces are housed on the floors above. On the upper floors, six private, fully catered VIP suites are provided with 40 indoor and 96 outdoor seats with access to a 360-person rooftop entertainment area.
